Creates a new area plan ViewPlan.

Parameters

Parameter	Type	Description
document	Document	The document to which the area plan will be added.
areaSchemeId	ElementId	The id of the AreaScheme which will be used by the area plan.
levelId	ElementId	The id of the Level to associate with the area plan.

Return Value

Type	Description
ViewPlan	The new area plan ViewPlan.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentException	The AreaScheme id is not valid and cannot be used for area plan views. -or- The ElementId levelId does not correspond to a Level. -or- Plan view creation is not allowed in this family.
ArgumentNullException	A non-optional argument was null
ModificationForbiddenException	The document is in failure mode: an operation has failed, and Revit requires the user to either cancel the operation or fix the problem (usually by deleting certain elements). -or- The document is being loaded, or is in the midst of another sensitive process.
ModificationOutsideTransactionException	The document has no open transaction.
